Facts About the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officers Association
The WLEOA is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-profit corporation chartered by the State of Wisconsin.
Membership in the WLEOA is open to all full time law enforcement officers, deputies, agents or other in the State of Wisconsin as approved by the Board of Directors.

Associate members consisting of persons not eligible for regular membership may apply for membership subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.
WLEOA is the only Association in which officers from all branches of the law enforcement profession are afforded equal voting rights, equal benefits, and equal representation.
The WLEOA is managed by its board of directors which represents all ranks of the law enforcement profession, from patrolman to commanding officers, from all sections of the state.
The WLEOA owns, and publishes an official magazine, the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Journal.
The Association was created by law enforcement officers. It does not duplicate the efforts or activities of any other law enforcement organization, but supplements the activities of those Associations which comprise specific groups.
